Management structure
and relationship to the community

ICLC is a company limited by guarantee and reports to the Australian Securities and Investment Commission. The Centre is managed by a board of nine who are representative of the community it serves.

The current Board of Management reflects the diversity of people who live and work in the inner city area including:

		gay and lesbian people;
		people living with hepatitis C;
		local residents;
		members of the legal profession;
		transgender people; and
		ICLC volunteer lawyers / students.

The Centre promotes a partnership approach to service delivery, both with other community legal centres, the legal profession and the Legal Aid Commission.
