Inner City Legal Centre (ICLC) is searching for an Operations Manager who is passionate about the legal rights of the residents of Sydney’s inner city and the LGBTIQ and sex worker communities in NSW. ICLC is a dynamic community legal centre in Kings Cross committed to improving access to law and justice for disadvantaged groups. ICLC has a strong history of casework, law reform and advocacy on discrimination, human rights, crime and other areas of law affecting its communities.
The Operations Manager is responsible for the management and planning of ICLC’s office environment and how the Centre functions on a day-to-day basis. This includes office efficiency and organisational planning; management and maintenance of equipment and premises; filing; IT and telecommunications needs; records and matter management; the efficiency of ICLC’s reception; and the management of its rosters of volunteer students and practitioners. The Operations Manager works closely with, and reports to, the Managing Principal Solicitor, who oversees ICLC’s legal practice and the highest priority aspects of its management.
Salary is in the range of $96,116 to $100,468, depending on skills and experience (with packaging of up to $16,000 per annum). The position is based at the Centre’s offices in Kings Cross.
